Sound Design & Music Production is a hands-on educational program developed in collaboration with Yerevan State Conservatory and built around project work, contemporary music technologies and independent artistic development.

The program runs from November to June and consists of four learning modules. Each module is built around one central project, with theory and practical skills helping students develop it.
  • 8 months
A full educational cycle built around projects, experimentation, and iteration rather than conventional exams.
  • 4 modules
Each module focuses on a specific area of practice and ends with a finished project for the student’s portfolio and future professional work.
  • 15 spots
A small group of up to 15 students, with 12 fully funded fellowships provided by hosq.
  • market entry
Students work on real projects and graduate with portfolio of finished work ready for the professional market.
The program expands the possibilities of a classical music education by introducing students to electronic music, digital production and applied sound design.

Students work within an equipped learning environment designed for music production and sound practice. The program infrastructure includes laptops and desktop workstations, audio interfaces, MIDI controllers, studio monitoring, projection and audio systems, as well as software including Ableton Live and other professional music tools.
The aim is to open different career paths for young musicians — from independent artistic projects, releases and live performances to collaborations and studio work.
