The Studio of an Unfinished World: Creative Pedagogy in
XXI century
A Lecture by Sofya Smyslova
We start our conversation with a reflection on how uncertainty, technological change, and the transformation of the creative industries are reshaping the very logic of education.

We will sum up our inquiry with a glimpse into how leading schools, universities, and creative hubs around the world are responding to these shifts: how studio-based learning is changing, how the role of the educator is being redefined, how curricula are being rethought, and how creative education is reconsidering its relationship with culture and the past.

At the very end, we will try to assemble an image of the ‘studio of an unfinished world’: an educational environment that works beyond a ready-made map of the future, helping learners recognize possibilities, develop their own position, and participate through creative practice in shaping what that world might become.
