Interfaces is a hybrid online and offline laboratory where interdisciplinary teams develop new concepts for interfaces between the body and new artistic practices. These concepts can become new instruments, interaction systems and forms of new media.
  • Origins
    Body: vulnerable | diverse | unique.
    We start from the body and ask how contact with art can be reinvented through interfaces.
  • Platform
    Interfaces is a platform for inventing contact. Artists, engineers, designers, and performers co-design controllers, instruments, and performative machines.
  • Method
    Interdisciplinary Laboratory moves from research and workshops to collaborative projects and prototypes, culminating in a public showcase.
  • Market
    The platform then brings new tools and interfaces created during the lab to the market.
2026
Each cycle of the platform focuses a shared research theme; in 2026 that theme is inclusion — interfaces that open art practice to neurodivergent people and people with diverse abilities.

We start from the body - vulnerable, diverse, unique - and ask how contact with art can be reinvented through interaction. Research becomes prototypes; prototypes become products that live in both artistic and industrial contexts.
