Musicians and sound artists from the hosq community joined the expedition to build the sound world of the collective film.

We recorded field sounds, jammed, and played music in caves, mountain valleys, and among the ruins of the village.
  • 5 days
Living, filming, and creating together on-site in the abandoned village of Hin-Khot.
  • 42 artists
Animators, directors, visual artists, and sound designers came together to bring an experimental film to life.
  • 6 minutes
A collective animated film created through the complex technique of pixelation.
  • 3 festivals
The film has already been screened at three international film festivals — and continues its festival journey.
The result of the expedition is a collective animated short film created through pixelation — a stop-motion technique using real people as animated subjects.

The abandoned village of Hin-Khot became more than a filming location: its ruins, caves, landscapes, textures, and sounds became part of the film itself — a character and co-author of the story.

The film was developed through a collective process, with its original idea evolving throughout the expedition as participants experimented, responded to the place, and shaped the story together.
