about
100 Winds is an international network performance bringing together up to 100 musicians playing wind instruments.

Each participant from different countries performs remotely from their own room/studio. Their sound travels through the internet into a central system in Yerevan, where all individual signals are brought together and shaped into one collective virtual orchestra.

The final composition will be performed live on August 2 at the Armenian National Philharmonia during Notations Festival.
curators
100 Winds is an experimental performance where geography, time zones, internet latency, and the acoustics of each individual room become part of one shared composition.

Connect from wherever you are and help us transform distance, breath, and network latency into a collective musical experience.
for whom
We welcome musicians playing any wind instrument — from trumpet, flute, or saxophone to duduk, shvi, or simple whistles, and other wind instruments.

Musicians from all genres and backgrounds are invited.

The composition will not require virtuoso technique or advanced notations-reading. It will be built from simple rhythmic and harmonic patterns that come together to create one shared musical experience.
