    Workshop Curators
barkal × wiiu wiiu are artists working at the intersection of synthesizer research, instrument invention, and the hacking of conventional audio and video devices. Their practice includes more than 100 self-developed inventions — from video mixers to a wide range of experimental audio and visual instruments.

They often work in the form of installations that combine multiple media, bringing together multimedia sculpture, sound generation, and video synthesis into layered audiovisual environments. The group also frequently explores the format of live musical performance within the realm of synthesized dark experimental music.

Through their projects, barkal × wiiu wiiu investigate themes of dark futures, technology, biohacking, and non-fiction narratives.
